PIRETTES
Pirettes serve as the Water Festival’s goodwill ambassadors, participating in regional parades and other activities throughout the year. They also offer assistance to patrons during the Water Festival.
McKenzie Blake is a 2nd year Pirette and a sophomore at Beaufort Academy. Her parents are David and Marianne Blake. She currently is the president of her sophomore class at Beaufort Academy and plays varsity basketball and volleyball. Last year she enjoyed seeing firsthand what happened behind the scenes of Water Festival.
Lisa Partridge is a 1st year Pirette and a freshman at Beaufort High School. She attends the Beaufort Academy of Dance. Her parents are Ron and Jennifer Partridge and Sandra and Haywood Strange. She also loves volunteering for her community.
Katie Stansell is a 2nd year Pirette and a sophomore at Beaufort High School where she plays volleyball and is in the Drama Club. Her parents are Willie and Sue Stansell. Her favorite part of Water Festival is being able to welcome the tourist to the Festival.
Christian Carter is a freshman at Battery Creek High School. Her parents are Victoria and Scott Carter. Her favorite part of Water Festival is meeting new people, interacting with old friends and enjoying the festivities. Her favorite Water Festival event is Children’s Day.
Cheyanne Gray is a 2nd year Pirette and a sophomore at Thomas Heyward Academy. Her parents are Jonathan and Renea Gray. Her favorite thing about Water Festival is spending time with friends and family, and meeting new people.
Morgan Ackerman is a 1st year Pirette and a freshman at Beaufort High School where is on the JV Soccer team. Morgan is also a student trainer with Carolina Sports Care. Her parents are Milton and Cindy Ackerman. She enjoys watching the Raft Races during Water Festival.
Emma Macloskie is a 2nd year Pirette and a sophomore at Beaufort High School. Her parents are Pat and Danae Macloskie. Her favorite part about being a Pirette last year was participating all of the different activities during Water Festival.
Cheyann Chavers is a 1st year Pirette and a freshman at Battery Creek High School where she plays Softball and Volleyball. Her favorite night of Water Festival is the Opening Ceremony.
Chandaa Johnson is a 2nd year Pirette and a sophomore at Beaufort High School. Her parents are Ray and Cely Johnson. Her favorite part of being a Pirette last year was helping at the Lowcountry Supper.
Caroline Coxwell is a 1st year Pirrette and a freshman at Beaufort High School. Her parents are Michael and Donna Coxwell. She isa member of the Eagle Scholars program and plays soccer for Beaufort Hgh School.
Jordan Bennet is a 1st year Pirette and a freshman at Beaufort High School, where she plays on the JV Softball Team. She is the daughter of Angie Graves-Starr. Her favorite night of Water Festival is Talent Night.
Emily Rose Madlinger is a 1st year Pirette and a freshman at Battery Creek High School where she is on the Varsity Softball team. Her parents are Henri Madlinger, Diane Lane, and Carole Madlinger. Low country Supper is her favorite night of Water Festival.
Cali Blocker is 1st year Pirrette and a freshman at Beaufort Academy where she is a member of NJHS and a varsity Cheerleader. Her parents are Edward and Tami Blocker. Her favorite part about being a Pirette is giving back to her community.
Meg Langford is a 1st year Pirette and a freshman at Battery Creek High School where she is in the Marching Band. Her parents are Alan and Suzanne Langford. Her favorite part of Water Festival is having a wonderful time with my friends and family while severing her community.
Taylor Rabon is a freshman at Beaufort High School where she plays soccer and is a cheerleader. She is the daughter of Scott and Michelle Rabon. Her favorite thing about Water Festival is Talent Night because it is an evening for all ages.
